Power of MoMMAs Voices

“Living with the ‘What If’ of High Functioning Pregnancy Anxiety”

MoMMAs Voices Season 2 Episode 2

“Create a community who is there to support, advocate, and be there for you across your motherhood journey.” Colleen Grant’s motherhood journey began with the preterm birth and loss of her first child. She subsequently experienced other preterm births, miscarriages, and complications that left her passionate to make things better for the next mom down the line. Today, she serves as a Patient Family Partner, physical therapist, and wellness coach to help moms through their pregnancy and create the village around women who are most in need of comfort and support.

About MoMMA's Voices
MoMMA’s (Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Advocates) Voices is the first-ever maternal health patient advocacy coalition established in 2018, to amplify the voices of people who have experienced childbirth complications or loss - especially those who have been historically marginalized - ensuring they are equipped and activated as partners with providers and researchers to improve maternal health outcomes.

This is a program of the Preeclampsia Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is supported by a grant through Merck for Mothers. For more information, visit mommasvoices.org and preeclampsia.org.
